Yellow Gate Adventure

Yellow Gate Adventure Resort also known as Santo Ñino of the Woods opened last May 2010. Currently the place offers a two way zip line; which was one of the most safest zip ride since it’s technical consultants were Eric Bontuyan and Bojun Bagayas; both known for their expertise concerning technical outdoor facilities. As as added factor of observing International Standards mostly of the equipments used were PETZL, a leading manufacturer of climbing and work-at-height equipment for mountaineering, climbing, caving and professional sector. The Zip line was 360 and 320 meters long and has a height of 100-150 meters. Unlike the Lake Sebu Zip Line, on which the rider was flying like superman, this ride tends to be different because we were hanged on the harness and which was way better for me because you could make a 360 view of the environment.
Just in-front and both sides of the rest house one can pitch a tent. Around the area was a kiosk, a fish pond, a children amenities like the seesaw and slide, a big rock on where you can post as having the clouds and mountains serve as your background. The place could not be reach anymore by Davao Lights, but that’s not a problem because the place has it’s own generator enough to supply the entire rest house and it’s main surroundings. Not only that, since the rest house was located on one of the coolest place in Davao City it has a fireplace which could be used during very cool and foggy climate. In addition to that, before the year ends either Davao Light or Cotabato electric company will supply the electricity in the area.
The rest house has four rooms on the 1st ground level and three rooms on the 2nd ground level. Both of which has a great landscape view of the lush forest. The rest house has also an attic which can accommodate as much as 30 participants [This was where we held our Basic Mountaineering Course.
